Commission celebrates National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day with art

In celebration of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day, WA Equal Opportunity Commissioner Allanah Lucas announced the winner and runners up of the 2016 Aboriginal Calendar artwork competition at Gwynne Park Primary School in Armadale.

The winner of the competition Rhiannon Egan will have her design featured on the 2016 calendar along with incorporated designs from runners up Taia Bragg, Isaiah Tolossa, Charlotte Barsi and Shelby Carter.

Ms Lucas congratulated all the students on their efforts.

"We received many colourful designs which will look wonderful together on our 2016 calendar," she said.
