Commissioner for Equal Opportunity WA

We are moving!

On 2 June the Equal Opportunity Commission will be moving to Albert Facey House. All our telephone numbers and our post office box address will stay the same; however our new street address will be Level One, 469 Wellington Street Perth, opposite the Perth Railway Station and adjacent to Forrest Chase.
If you are visiting our office for meetings or enquiries, please ask reception on the ground floor of Albert Facey House and they will let us know so we can come down to meet you.

Website improvements

Our website is undergoing some improvements and you may find some links are not working, however you will still be able to submit discrimination and harassment complaints online through our Complaints section on the website. Please bear with us while we fix the links and in the meantime if there is something you need and cannot find, contact Communications Officer Sarah Johnston on sarah.johnston@eoc.wa.gov.au. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

What we do

Discrimination, sexual harassment, racial harassment and victimisation in specific areas of public life are covered by the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (the Act).  The Equal Opportunity Commission works throughout Western Australia to promote the Act and conciliate discrimination and harassment complaints.
